My immediate impression of Villa Sungai was magical. A contemporary villa set harmoniously amongst the untamed jungle of inland Bali. Clean lines, a subtle colour palette, quality fittings and fixtures and exquisite furnishings combine to create the ultimate in understated luxury and comfort. From the high quality bed linen to the stoneware china, it’s all in the detail.
Also amazing is the staff. Always there but never there is the best way to describe them. You want for nothing.
Another experience is the cuisine. From the traditional Balinese banquet to the more western steak sandwich the food is second to none. Having traveled extensively throughout Bali and Asia I can confidently say it is one of the best eating experiences I have ever had. Pam, the biggest thank you for the opportunity to experience Villa Sungai and I look forward returning in the very near future.
